Position: Data Center Operations Professional

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Data Center Operations Professional to join our team. As a Data Center Operations Professional, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and optimization of our data center facilities. Your main objective will be to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our data center systems, hardware, software, and networking equipment. You will work closely with our IT teams, facility management, and external vendors to maintain a secure and reliable data environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor the performance of data center systems, including servers, storage, and networking equipment, ensuring optimal operation.
  • Quickly respond to system outages or failures, troubleshooting issues and coordinating with technical teams to resolve problems.
  • Assess current resource usage and predict future needs to ensure data center capacity aligns with business requirements.
  • Implement security measures to protect data center assets and sensitive information from unauthorized access and threats.
  • Maintain accurate records of systems, processes, and incidents; prepare regular reports for management on performance metrics.
  • Work closely with IT personnel on hardware upgrades, system configurations, and installations to ensure seamless operations.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure maintenance and support of data center equipment and services.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices for data center management, including health and safety regulations.
