• Provide assistance and information to visitors, educating them about forest conservation and recreational opportunities.
• Perform trail maintenance, including clearing fallen trees, repairing signs, and improving accessibility.
• Collaborate with other agencies and organizations to implement conservation programs and resolve environmental issues.
• Gather and analyze data on forest conditions, wildlife populations, and visitor trends to inform management decisions.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments and assist in developing strategies to mitigate negative effects.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Passion for conservation and the environment.
• Strong knowledge of forestry and wildlife management principles.
• Excellent outdoor survival skills, including navigation, first aid, and response to emergencies.
• Proficiency in using tools and equipment related to forestry, such as GPS devices, chainsaws, and firefighting equipment.
• Physical fitness and endurance to perform tasks in rugged terrain and adverse weather conditions.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with visitors, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
• Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to forest management and conservation.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Valid driver's license.
