We are looking for a skilled and experienced Head Waiter to join our team. As a Head Waiter, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the waitstaff during shifts, ensuring excellent customer service, and training and mentoring new waitstaff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the activities of the waitstaff during shifts.
• Ensure excellent customer service by addressing diners' needs and concerns.
• Train and mentor new waitstaff on service standards and protocols.
• Supervise and coordinate dining room activities for a seamless service experience.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve issues in a professional manner.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
• Take customer orders and serve food and beverages.
• Ensure tables are set and properly prepared for guests.
• Handle financial transactions and process payments.
• Monitor inventory levels and restock as needed.
• Assist in the hiring and training of new waitstaff.

Requirements and Skills

• Proven experience in a waiter/waitress role with demonstrated leadership.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with grace.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and health standards.
