Plant Operator Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control plant machinery and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
• Operate and monitor plant equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment.
• Adjust controls and settings on machinery as needed.
• Monitor production processes and make adjustments to maintain quality.
• Report any malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.

Requirements and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
• Proven experience as a plant operator or similar role.
• Strong understanding of plant machinery and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
