Procurement Engineering Job Description

Job Brief:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Engineer to join our team. As a Procurement Engineer, you will be responsible for strategizing and implementing procurement plans, collaborating with suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery, conducting cost analysis and negotiations, managing relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement plans to meet the organization's objectives.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining quality standards.
• Conduct cost analysis and negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to optimize procurement outcomes.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders in the supply chain, including internal teams and external vendors.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards in all procurement activities.
• Stay up-to-date with market trends, new technologies, and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.
• Evaluate supplier performance and identify areas for improvement to enhance the overall effectiveness of the supply chain.
• Participate in the selection and qualification of new suppliers, conducting supplier audits and assessments as needed.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment and achieve procurement goals.
• Utilize procurement software and tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

Requirements and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficient in using procurement software and tools.
